I am a psychotherapist based in New York. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples dealing with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and grief. I believe that therapy unfolds in a unique way for each person, and I am committed to developing an approach that works best for you.
Curiosity, openness, and compassion are at the center of my therapeutic style. Informed by psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy, I support clients in building self-awareness, shifting old patterns, and figuring out new ways to feel more alive. With a background in visual art, I enjoy working with artists and those in creative fields. I also have a special interest in working with adolescents and with individuals dealing with issues around parenthood.
I bring awareness to the ways in which society and systems shape who we are, and I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds. I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College.
I see clients both in-person and virtually. We can talk about what option feels right for you. I see clients through the Suite 14 Psychotherapy group practice in Downtown Brooklyn.
I don't accept insurance. However, many insurance plans offer coverage for out-of-network mental health services. I recommend calling your provider to see if you might be eligible. I can provide you with invoices for your insurance company to reimburse you.
My full fee is $200. But I do offer a sliding scale for those that need it.
I meet weekly with clients at a set time. Sessions are 45 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples. I also offer twice a week therapy.
